All the colors of the rainbow
In Iceland, we celebrate Pride month in August and we are happy to be an official sponsor of Reykjavik Pride. Our Caramel bar was specially made in honor of Pride to bring awareness to the cause and celebrate diversity and all the colors of the rainbow.
Caramel is made with 50% milk chocolate and topped with caramel pieces coated in even more chocolate. From the first look to the last bite of the chocolate, we want this bar to be big, bold, proud, and sparkling.
This special chocolate is our way to celebrate diversity and Icelandic unity while making life a little bit more colorful and magical. It's a bar that's near and dear to us.
History of Pride in Iceland
Reykjavik Pride has been an annual event in Reykjavik since 1999, but the history goes back to 1993 when Icelandic gays and lesbians first gathered in the city center demanding freedom and human rights.
This cozy little pride, originally visited by some fifteen hundred onlookers, has blossomed and evolved into a colorful six-day celebration that attracts over 100 thousand guests from all over the world. Reykjavik Pride is, in fact, the biggest annual event in Iceland and probably the biggest small Pride in the world.
We stand in unity and support of the Pride community. After all, the world needs more chocolate, unicorns, and rainbows!
We want to celebrate all the unicorns out there with a special coloring competition.
All you have to do is share your photo on social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) with the hashtag #omnomchocolate. If you don't have social media, you can send us your art via email.
If you're a better artist online, you can also screen-grab images in IG stories and post them but make sure to tag us. Watch out for IG stories.
We will award the most creative picture with a gift basket filled with our favorite stuff and of course chocolate. This competition is global and the winner will be announced on August 8th.
