Rainbows and unicorns

Pride month has officially begun in Iceland, and we couldn’t be happier. Not only because Reykjavik Pride is an amazing experience, but also because Omnom is an official sponsor of Pride again this year. 

Last year, our chocolate-makers created a special bar in support of Hinsegin dagar (Reykjavik Pride) to bring awareness to the cause and celebrate diversity. Caramel + Milk is made with 50% milk chocolate and topped with caramel pieces coated in even more chocolate. Sounds alright, doesn't it? Proceeds from the sales of the bars went to funding the festival and its causes.

Originally, Caramel + Milk was only made as a limited edition batch but due to its popularity it is now available all year round. In no time at all, Caramel + Milk became one of our most popular chocolates all over the world, sometimes surpassing the crowd favorite Lakkris + Sea Salt. From the first look to the last bite of the chocolate, we want this bar to be big, bold, proud, and sparkling.

Caramel+Milk is Omnom’s way to celebrate diversity and Icelandic unity while making life a little bit more colorful and magical. It’s a bar that’s near and dear to the family of other flavors it comes from, and needs no introduction.

 During Reykjavik Pride week, anyone who buys Caramel + Milk bars from our shop at Hólmaslóð 4 (101- Grandi) will receive a unicorn tattoo as a complimentary gift. They’re temporary, but believe it or not there is someone who inked this bar’s design permanently on their skin!

This year, Reykjavik Pride will be held the 7th to 12th of August. Specifically, the march will be held Saturday 11th of August. We invite everyone to joins us downtown and participate in the celebration. Omnom Chocolate stands in unity and support with the community.

After all, the world needs more chocolate, unicorns, and rainbows!
